Ladies Vs Ricky Behl

Ladies vs Ricky Behl is kind of a sequel to 'Band Baja Baraat' with the same lead cast and a script that has similarity in terms of its treatment & setting. So one expected a similar level of entertainment. The movie definitely starts interestingly as it takes us thru the relationship of a young couple played by debutant 'Parineeti Chopra' and Ranveer Singh set in Delhi. The first 20 minutes were very entertaining to watch as the dialogues, spontaneity of both actors and the con act by ranveer singh was quite a treat to watch. Specially the boldness of the girl(parineeta) was quite insightful and interesting to see when the girl was not all apologetic of the fact that her dad was conned by her boyfriend instead was upset that he dumped her. The way she ways 'Usne to acchi planning ki thi , papa ko bhi to smartness dikhani chahiye thi naa' were quite funny and interesting and shows a new age philosophy of the youth today.... But from thereon the movie becomes predictable , the con acts doesn't take you by surprise and the story therefore becomes much less thrilling and enjoyable as you would have expected from it. Anushka as always gave her best and demonstrates that she is a very good actress with complete hold over what she does. But the movie doesn't belong to her. Possibly because the most interesting roles were with the 3 girls who get conned and out of them 'Parnieeta' & very surprisingly Dipannita really impresses you. While Parineeta was a treat to watch her dialogues with that Delhi punch makes you smile every time you hear them Dipannita was extremely confident in her role as a senior corporate executive. She really surprised me with her confident performance. The movie however is still a good one time watch. But lacks the depth of the story. All actors did a very good job in their own roles. If you have nothing to do you can watch this one....Anyways this will surely hit your TV Screens soon....
