Drishyam Hindi Review

Whenever Ajay Devgan is given a role where he has to show aggression with restrain (remember Gangajal), he gives his most memorable performance.

Drishyam is one such movie where one star who shines par above any one else is Ajay Devgan.

The movie starts in a very boring way in the first half and you actually feel a bit bored but as it starts in the 2nd half , u could feel the silence in the theatre as people watch every moment with a sense of curiosity what will happen now and also enjoying the tussle between three characters i.e. Tabu, Kamlesh Sawant & Ajay Devgan.

Apart from Ajay , Tabu as a cold blooded policewoman adds to the intensity in the film and the marathi actor 'Kamlesh Sawant' too manages to make his mark inspite of having two high calibre actors.

The movie deals with an individuals way of dealing with a situation which involves his family and his definition of what is wrong and what is right. However the story is written with so much of twists and turns , that it becomes a beautiful watch. It primarily revolves around the tussle between three characters Ajay Devgan, Tabu & Kamlesh Sawant. The high points of the movie is Ajays continues Restraint in the movie and some scenes where Tabu brings alive her angst while knowing what she is doing is not right....Its difficult to think without Tabu & Ajay whether this movie would have been as watchful as its today.....Therefore the real credit goes to Nishikant Kamat for getting the cast that is Bang On.....Nishikant Kamat anyways excels in this kind of storytelling which has lots of layers, keeps the audience on its feet and deals with Human Emotions & Angst....

If there is one weak link in the movie that is Shreya Saran who just does not manage to fit in with ease in her role and constantly looks like a misfit....

Having seen Drishyam in Hindi i am itching to watch in Malyalam as i am sure Mohanlal would have taken the performance to a different level altogether....

If you have not seen Drishyam yet , then you are surely missing out on something....

Do not leave this movie from you watch list....
