Dabbang2 Review

The theatre was full on saturday night showing the fan following 'Chulbul Pandey' as a property has garnered since 'Dabang'. Salman Khan is on a roll all one can say and this property is here to stay.

Coming to the sequel the intro scenes were quite likeable with a 'comic strip' like transformation of each frame....Somewhere it also connects to the fact that characters like 'Chulbul Pandey' are more like comic characters....The entry of 'Chulbul Pandey' as usual has been outstanding garnering whistles from the audience.... The rest of the movie is a tight short story around the heroics of 'Chulbul Pandey'.....

Salman Khan keeps the 'innocent yet clever and strong' essence of the character intact and played it very well with ease once again and possibly that's what the audience have started loving in Dabbang.....The movie is tight , doesn't make you think too much but just enjoy the heroics of 'Salman'....

In terms of direction 'Arbaaz' has done a good job though unlike its prequel which was possibly more funny and had more relief moments this sequel is filled with too much violence and less comedy compared to its predecessor....But still thanks to Salman he keeps the audience attention tight.....Music is very average.....

The property is sealed as a success and am sure the audience will look forward to part -3....However its highly advisable that the next has an equal balance of action and comedy and direction is handled by somebody more creative so that the property can grow from strength to strength....

Clearly after watching 'DB 2' one has to say 'Hail Salman' this guy is on a roll......Go watch and get entertained this weekend....

Btw with Dabbang also released the first look of 'Kai Po Che' and must say the trailor looks very promising....
