BAJIRAO MASTAANI REVIEW

Image
Splendid, Spell bound, Passionate, Masterpiece is what comes to my mind when i left the theater....This movie is a pure work of passion and proves that when passion takes over somebody then the outcome most of the time is nothing less than a masterpiece..... Bajirao Mastaani is one such masterpiece which is made once in a lifetime. If not for anything, i think this would stand true for Ranveer Singh for sure as the performance he has given in this movie is nothing less than that.....From the first scene till the last scene he has made the viewers speechless. His accent and mannerisms actually never make you feel that you are watching an actor, this guy has made us go speechless in Bajirao.... The opening scene of the movie is possibly the best opening scene ever i have seen, the set designs has been by far the best work from SLB and so is the music..... I think if you are not watching Bajirao then you are losing out on something, bcoz such movies are not just to be seen but t...

Mai Aur Charles Review

Image
Mai aur charles is an intirguing story of the most celebrated criminals of Indian history i.e. Charles Shobhraj. The biggest draw for this film is primarily to see the story of this criminal, who during the 80's was most talked about. However when it comes to the film, it turns out be a great intriguing story , expressed in a very confusing manner. As the narrative looked more like an ensemble of events , rather than a strong storyline that has a start, build up and finish. While Randeep Hooda excelled in this role as he always does in roles where he underplays himself, someone who is lost in his own thoughts. His french accent was a delight to watch. However the plots build up seemed confused, background score most average and performances of other actors very ordinary.  Inspite of its average make as a film, viewers are coming out with certain kind of intrigue bcoz its the character of Charles Shobhraj which is so interesting and very interestingly played by Randeep....

Talvar

Image
Meghana Gulzar is like her father who has the ability to express a very tough message in such a soothing manner that it feels like poetry....Talvar is one such outstanding work from her, where she has presented a very complex subject in a very soothing pace and made it look like a complete film with all elements that typically a movie has an Intro, Story & Climax....With any one else it could have looked like a documentary... Along with a great scripting, direction its ultimately the actors who put life into a film. In case of Talvar too each and every actor be it small or large has done complete justice to the role and made the film interesting to watch....Its a gory story yet the team of Talvar has managed to present it in a far lighter yet serious manner... Having said that its Irfaan Khan who proves his mettle again and again, that in thinking roles there is no one better than him today....Irfaan ne movie mein Jaan daal di, is the thought that one would come out with aft...

Drishyam Hindi Review

Image
Whenever Ajay Devgan is given a role where he has to show aggression with restrain (remember Gangajal), he gives his most memorable performance. Drishyam is one such movie where one star who shines par above any one else is Ajay Devgan. The movie starts in a very boring way in the first half and you actually feel a bit bored but as it starts in the 2nd half , u could feel the silence in the theatre as people watch every moment with a sense of curiosity what will happen now and also enjoying the tussle between three characters i.e. Tabu, Kamlesh Sawant & Ajay Devgan. Apart from Ajay , Tabu as a cold blooded policewoman adds to the intensity in the film and the marathi actor 'Kamlesh Sawant' too manages to make his mark inspite of having two high calibre actors. The movie deals with an individuals way of dealing with a situation which involves his family and his definition of what is wrong and what is right. However the story is written with so much of twist...

Review Of Dum Lagaa Ke Haisha

Image
Dum Lagaa Ke Haisha is a movie with lots of freshness. Directed by a new director Sharat Katariya and debut in bollywood by Bhoomi Pednekar and of course after some time we could see Ayushman Khurana, the movie leaves you with a fresh romantic comedy set in Haridwar. The movie connects with you right from the word go probably because of extremely relatable characters, emotions dealt with ease but expressed like we would do in real life and possibly also the voice of Kumar Saanu after such a long time. The film also deals beautifully with the expression of emotions when a decent looking guy gets married to a fat girl and the gradual changes in those emotions as the movie progresses. After a long time Ayushman Khuraana again comes into his own in this movie with a very relatable performance, all other supporting actors add tremendous value to the films relatability but the girl who takes the cake is 'Bhoomi' who leaves you amazed with a spontaneous and beautiful perform...
