Humpty Sharma ki dulhania is 'wohi puraani ghisi piti love story in a new avatar'. So for folks who like to see meaningful cinema, this is definitely a huge waste of money. But for those who are romantic at heart, believe cinema is as much entertainment and meaningful content, and love bollywood, this is a blockbuster. Its true that its the easiest movie for Dharma Production to make from a content standpoint but whats difficult is to present similar content over and over again with so much freshness so that in those 2.5hrs you actually do not criticise the 'old wine in a new bottle' but actually enjoy it thoroughly. I believe one must give full marks to Karan Johar and team for yet another romantic blockbuster.
