There are very few performances which makes you feel the emotions of the character. Shreyas Talpade has that ability with his genuine performances which are without any fuss and thus makes you emote along with the character. He shines in performances which deals with the struggle of a common man and somehow he always shines in the role of a cricketer whether its Iqbal or Pravin Tambey. There is a certian genuinity which makes you as an audience connect with him. Kaun Pravin Tambey is a simple story which is well written, directed and performed by every character. Jayprad Desai has done a good job as a director to not allow the film to go overboard in drama and possibly that is the essesnce which makes the film stand out and touches your heart. Ably supported by the entire cast especially Ashish Vidayrthi and Anjali Patil who adds to the core of the film i.e. Simplicity and Genuinity.
